GRADUATE SEMINAR I
THIS CORE CLASS, IS CO-TAUGHT ON A PROJECT-BY-PROJECT BASIS WITH MICHAEL WORTHINGTON, LORRAINE WILD, AND ED FELLA. IT PROVIDES PROJECTS THAT CHALLENGE STUDENT’S IDEAS ABOUT GRAPHIC DESIGN — WHAT THEY MAKE AND HOW THEY UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY’RE DOING. THE PROJECTS ALSO PUSH STUDENTS TO DEVELOP NEW VISUAL LANGUAGE AS PART OF ADDRESSING THE DESIGN PROBLEM. FOLLOWING ARE EXAMPLES FROM TWO PROJECTS.
