THIS REQUIRED CLASS EXPANDS ON THE TYPOGRAPHIC PRINCIPLES, TYPE HISTORY, AND USE OF GRID INTRODUCED IN TYPE I AND II. IT CONTINUES TO EXPLORE THE DENOTATIVE AND CONNOTATIVE NATURE OF WORDS AND THEIR VISUAL FORM. COMPLEX SYSTEMS UTILIZING HEIRARCHY AND VISUAL LANGUAGE ARE APPLIED TO BOTH PRINT AND SCREEN PROJECTS.
