THIS EXHIBITION WAS A SURPRISING WINDOW INTO THE RICH HOLDINGS OF LOS ANGELES’ DIVERSE LIBRARIES. A COLLABORATION WITH DURFEE|REGN ARCHIECTS, THE DESIGN CREATED AN ENVIRONMENT THAT ALLOWED AN INTIMATE APPRECIATION OF BOOKS AND DOCUMENTS WHILE ENCOURAGING A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE WORKS AS OBJECTS AND AS IMPORTANT ARTIFACTS IN THE HISTORY OF IDEAS.
